KanMed Baby Warmer represents the "Back to Nature" skin to skin  contact for warming of premature and new-born babies.

The baby feels like being on its mother's skin wich makes it relax, sleep and develop well.
This is done by placing the baby on a very soft, warm water mattress, that is kept at about 37ºC.

To create a feeling of safety and physical support, the KanMed Baby Nest surrounds the water mattress.
This nest facilitates correct positioning of the baby, wich is important in shaping a normal looking and
functioning future body. The concept allows the care and warming of babies weighting as little as 900g
and can be adjusted to the individual needs of each baby. It is an important part of a modern developmental
care program for premature and new-born babies.
